The Redwood Gospel Mission is hosting its Great Thanksgiving Banquet at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds on November 26th! If you would like to volunteer for a shift at this event, please sign up below. 

Young Adults is having their annual Friendsgiving dinner! Each year they get all of the young adults together for a potluck dinner with no agenda apart from spending time together. We hope to see you there!

We’re partnering with the Redwood Gospel Mission to provide dinner and overnight shelter for homeless individuals in our community. Sign up in the hallway on Sunday, November 9th or 16th to serve or drop off food.

Come be baptized at the beach!

We’re excited to share that we’ll be having a Beach Baptism on Saturday, September 27 at 10:30am at Dillon Beach, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Beach baptisms are such a beautiful and meaningful time as we gather to worship and celebrate those taking a step of faith and publicly declaring their commitment to follow Jesus.

-Baptisms begin at 10:30 AM
-$10 parking fee (Parking can fill up quickly, so please allow extra time to find a spot and walk down to the beach.)

Discipleship Pathways 101 is a seven-week introductory class that meets on Mondays from 7:00–8:30 PM, beginning September 8 and running through October 20. We’ll explore the foundational beliefs and practices of the Christian faith. Whether you’re new to following Jesus or looking to deepen your understanding, this class will help you build a strong, practical foundation for a lifelong journey of discipleship.

 If you’re wondering what deeper discipleship looks like, we highly encourage you to watch Pastor Zach’s  sermon from January 5th. He dives into the topic, and it’s a great introduction to the heart of what we are pursuing. 

The seven weeks of this course are focused on the catalysts that promote the most growth in this stage of spiritual development. We will cover: 

·         Salvation by Grace  

·         Personal God  

·         Jesus is Lord  

·         The Authority of the Bible  

·         Serving in the Church 

·         Small Groups and Community 

·         Bible Reading 

·         Reflection on Scripture 

·         Prayer to Seek Guidance and Prayer to Confess Sin 

·         Spiritual Friendships

We’ll be meeting durng the all-together women’s Philippians study. For the five weeks in September, Pastor Zach and a great team of men will be leading the kids. Then, Miss Jeannine, Miss Aline, and the rest of our regular crew will finish out the final three weeks. During this session we will focus on the spiritual discipline of worship – exploring what the Bible teaches about true worship and how we live it out.

All the women of Calvary are invited to come together for a five-week study through the book of Philippians—a letter of encouragement to live transformed lives because of what Jesus has done.

We believe we follow Jesus better together, and this is a beautiful opportunity to connect, grow, and be refreshed in God’s Word alongside other women.

Kickoff Dinner – September 2 at 5:30pm

We’re starting our first night with a Gourmet Grilled Cheese dinner! Enjoy a yummy meal and hang out before we dive into the study.

Thursday AM group | September 4 – October 2  |  9:15–10:30am at Calvary

Thursday mornings will be the same study as Tuesday evening and a great option for moms or those who prefer a daytime group.

Study books will be available for purchase starting Sunday, August 17, in the foyer.
