Roots and Abide are the Jr. High and High School ministries of Calvary Chapel Petaluma. Our goal is to help students grow closer to Jesus and learn how to live out their faith.

Abide exists to help high school students become faithful and fruitful followers of Jesus.

High school students are invited to participate in seasonal small groups on Wednesday nights. Contact Pastor Wes below to learn about about upcoming groups.

Roots exists to help Jr High students find their foundation in Jesus.

Roots meets during the 11am service in the youth room for Bible study and small group discussions.

Jr. High: 6PM - 8PM
High School: 7PM - 9PM
Registration is open!
Dates: Sunday, July 27th to Thursday, July 31st
Who: Students who are starting 7th grade in the fall semester of 2025 through students who graduated high school this year.
Cost: $425
(This cost is for the first 35 students to register. Price will raise to $455 after.)
Registration is open until July 6th or until full. Space is limited so sign up soon!
Location: Camp Cedar Crest in Running Springs, CA (San Bernardino mountains area)

We’re so excited for Summer Camp! This is always a time that we see students encounter God in a powerful way and we can’t wait for what He has in store this year. Our Jr. High and High School students will be attending camp together this year in partnership with Calvary Chapel Vista in Southern California.
