Children’s Ministry
-
We believe that discipleship isn’t reserved for grown-ups, and we make it our mission to introduce kids to Jesus through scripture and teach them what it means to trust in and walk with him all the days of their lives.
-
We provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn about Jesus and grow their faith. Our curriculum, The Gospel Project, gives an overview of the Bible in three years. Every Sunday we provide engaging worship, age-appropriate Bible study and discussion, and fun crafts or activities. Each teacher has been through a rigorous background process to ensure the safety of our kids and ensure they serve with the right age group. Our teachers are servants who are called to this ministry and love what they do.
Sunday: we have classes at 9 am and 11 am for babies through 6th grade.
Tuesday: We have mid-week Bible study throughout the year for 3rd-6th graders that occur throughout the school year. Contact the office for more information.

Bring your child to church consistently. The continuity helps your child feel more comfortable with us and helps us get to know them better, so we can build a relationship.
Help your child memorize scripture. We have a new memory verse every couple of weeks.

Sundays at Seeds
-
Bring your child to the check-in table next to the “New Families Start Here” sign. A Seeds team member will help get your child registered, share a bit about our ministry, and personally walk you to their classroom.
-
Each week, our team plans a fun morning for the kids with worship, a Bible lesson, and plenty of free time to play with friends and learn the memory verse. Our nursery through sixth-grade classes follow the same Gospel Project lessons with age appropriate activities.
-
Your child’s safety is a top priority at Calvary. Seeds Team members go through a rigorous screening process, and a Safety Team member remains posted at the entrance of the Seeds area for the entire duration of the service.
Each child and parent is issued a unique numbered tag set each Sunday. This number informs parents if the child need them during service and is required at child pick-up.
-
The Nursing Moms room is a space dedicated to moms to care for their babies and watch the service.
Our Family Room is designed for families whose children need a break during the service, offering toys for kids and a TV streaming the sermon.

If your child has special needs, we would love to come alongside you and make Sunday mornings successful for you and your child. We have a Buddy System in Seeds with team members who would love to help. Please reach out to Aline to connect and prepare for your Sunday visit.
Serve
If you love Jesus and want to join us in serving the children at Calvary, please reach out to Aline or join us at our next Volun-tour. Once a month, you have the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes view of what a Sunday morning looks like serving in children’s ministry and ask any questions that you might have about serving. Check the events page for the next Volun-tour.
