Women’s Ministry

  • To be a group of women who know and experience God in fullness and freedom, trusting we follow Jesus better together.

  • Throughout the year, we meet in small group bible studies, along with a few larger gatherings where all of us ladies get together. During the summer, we have a handful of fun activities for anyone to join.

  • Sunday morning services is where as the body of Christ we grow in our love for the Bible. Join a small group bible study where you have the opportunity to know other women and allow yourself to be known. Get involved at Calvary Petaluma and give God away wherever you go.

We walk with Jesus better together

  • Follow Me is an in depth study on the gospel of Mark. The gospel of Mark is an invitation to follow Jesus. It invites us to step forward in faith, even in our weaknesses and doubts, and pursue the One who welcomes us into a relationship with Him. The book of Mark teaches us how following Christ is not a one-time action but a lifelong pursuit. Every day for the believer in Christ is a day to trust and obey the God who gave His life up for us.

  • The gospel is on display throughout all of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. This is especially evident in the short yet powerful story of Ruth. Her story is a beautiful picture of God’s redemptive love that He lavishes upon His people. The book of Ruth acts as a reminder for us today that God is always working to sovereignly bring about His plan of redemption.

  • The books of 1 & 2 Samuel include the stories of Samuel, Saul, and David—three broken heroes used by God to establish a kingdom for His people. Samuel was the revered last judge, Saul was the impressive first king of Israel, and David was the ultimate poet-warrior, who composed much of the Psalms and triumphed over tens of thousands to defend his people.

But beyond the page-turning adventure of kings and battles and political gamesmanship, these books tell the story of a greater King. David’s heroic defeat of Goliath, the epic victories of his band of mighty men, and an ordinary man made into a king all point to one truth: our God reigns.

  • Many of us struggle through seasons of bitterness, tears, and loss, wondering if there could ever be a happy ending to our stories. The story of Ruth affirms that yes, there is hope. However, it's not found in a happy ending scribed by a novelist’s pen, but in the power and protection of a sovereign God who never takes His eyes off of us for even a moment.

In this 7-session study from Kelly Minter, we'll examine Ruth's journey of unbearable loss, redeeming love, and divine legacy. We'll see how God proves Himself faithful as the One who rescues, revives, and restores.
