MORAGA, CALIFORNIA:
Michelle Silvashy, as a student of Sonoma State
University, began fellowshipping at Calvary Chapel Petaluma during the
1999/2000 school year. While attending Sonoma State, she became involved in
Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Upon graduation in the Spring of 2002, she
went on staff with Intervarsity. Calvary Chapel Petaluma, still her home
church, became part of her support group in 2003. Michelle worked tirelessly
for Intervarsity at Sonoma State and Santa Rosa Junior College for several
years.
In
2007, Michelle was given the opportunity to become the team leader for
Intervarsity at St. Mary's College. Her passion is to see students transformed
and become bold witnesses for Jesus Christ on the campus. Additionally, she
desires that they become vitally established in a local church. At St. Mary's,
Michelle has been able to realize another overarching desire of her life - to
see the lost respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 Hi Friends!
So I wanted to send you a brief update on the happenings here for SF State (SFSU) so far and ask you to continue to pray for us. The SF State Staff team and I have been meeting regularly to pray, bond, and plan for the Fall. God has been revealing a lot to us about his love for the campus and how we can be a part of serving him there. Praise him!
Please keep us in your prayers and we make plans to welcome new students, train up leaders, create Bible studies and Large Group talk series, and more... Finally, after nearly 25 apartments visited and who knows how many apartment listings called, emails send...I finally found a place in The City. Well, to be honest, God found this place! It was the first place of all the places that I looked that I felt a peace about...and it even has some of the "wish list" things I never dreamed of having like, a backyard, SUN, my own bathroom and more.
